Prosecuted sensitive cases in the Special Crimes Bureau of a Major Crimes Division, including identity theft by illegal immigrants, prostitution, criminal enterprise, and home invasion cases. Reviewed large caseloads for filing charges in the Charging Division and presented cases to the Grand Jury.

Navajo County Attorney's Office
Vertically and horizontally prosecuted broad range of felony cases. Specialization in prosecution of large and complex financial crimes. Worked independently with little supervision. Prosecuted major crimes including serious violent crimes and financial crimes from investigation stage through disposition.

Apache County Attorney's Office
Vertically prosecuted a heavy load of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. Gained broad experience in virtually every aspect of criminal practice, including: advising law enforcement, charging, preliminary hearings, plea negotiations, settlement conferences, suppression hearings, bench trials, jury trials, sentencing, petitions to revoke probation, and special actions. Responsible for handling juvenile cases.

Taught intensive course to prepare students to achieve a high score on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Developed course curriculum designed to quickly enhance logical and critical thinking skills.

Wrote and argued numerous hearings and motions in court. Won over 50 motions and court appearances, losing none. Assisted in the preparation of a 52 count organized crime prosecution. Researched and wrote memoranda regarding legal issues for pending trials. Served four internships: Appellate Division, Gangs Division, Superior Court Division, and Central Pretrial Division.

Conceived of resolutions to leadership and teamwork obstacles under conditions of extreme stress. Adeptly learned military knowledge. Thrived in rigorous physical training tasks. Received Honorable Discharge and awarded disability benefits for an injury sustained in training, which I decline to accept.
