Larry Watkins is an Arkansas construction attorney in the Construction Law Practice Area whose primary legal practice focuses on construction contracts, litigation, arbitration, and mediation - providing counsel for local, national, and international projects. He has extensive legal experience with construction mediation, arbitration, litigation, consulting contracts, design agreements, construction contracts, supply agreements, project finance, construction claims, project counsel, construction business & tax matters, construction regulations, and Arkansas public-private partnership (P3s, PPPs). Prior to practicing law, Mr. Watkins was a superintendent, project engineer, project manager, and Sr. contracts manager for some of the largest construction, architecture, and engineering companies in the US. With 20+ years in the construction industry, his knowledge of and experience with all aspects of projects are an invaluable asset. Experience: - Construction contracts & design contracts for commercial, industrial, energy & infrastructure projects, ranging from $2M to $200M - design services, FEED/FEL, project finance agreements - Project partnership, JV & LLC agreements for private & public projects - Engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) contracts and EPCM contracts - Public construction project RFQs, RFPs, and contract drafts for proposals, ranging from $60M to $750M - Custom construction contracts & form agreements (e.g. AIA, ConsensusDocs, DBIA) - Construction litigation, mediation, and arbitration for commercial, energy, industrial, and infrastructure.
