Prior to practicing law, Mr. Watkins was a superintendent, project engineer, project manager, and Sr. contracts manager for some of the largest construction, architecture, and engineering companies in the US. With 20+ years in the construction industry, his knowledge of and experience with all aspects of projects are an invaluable asset. Experience: - Construction contracts & design contracts for commercial, industrial, energy & infrastructure projects, ranging from $2M to $200M - design services, FEED/FEL, project finance agreements - Project partnership, JV & LLC agreements for private & public projects - Engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) contracts and EPCM contracts - Public construction project RFQs, RFPs, and contract drafts for proposals, ranging from $60M to $750M - Custom construction contracts & form agreements (e.g. AIA, ConsensusDocs, DBIA) - Construction litigation, mediation, and arbitration for commercial, energy, industrial, and infrastructure.
