With a background that includes serving as an in-house counsel for a nationally known insurance company, he’s proven himself equally adept at litigating complex business cases. In fact, Frank’s practice is 100 percent devoted to litigation.

Frank is a down-to-earth, lifelong resident of Fresno County who was raised on his family’s vineyard in Selma. He’s returned the blessings he received as a Valley kid by staying local when he attended Fresno State and then San Joaquin College of Law to earn his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 1994.

Today, he uses his community roots, courtroom experience, and a practical, personable touch to leverage dollars-and-cents results in litigation for individuals and businesses. If you have a case, Frank won’t rest until your needs are met. If you don’t, he’ll be the first to let you know. Respected widely in both the local court system and community, he dedicates himself to clients facing challenging circumstances.

Been served with a subpoena?
Been served with a subpoena? – CA Injury Attorney Frank Nunes explains
https://www.nuneslaw.com/ (559) 436-0850

Watch as California Injury Attorney Frank Nunes explains what you should do if you find yourself served with a subpoena and how you can try and change the date of your testimony.

Above all, stay calm. The first thing you do is make sure you get your witness fees. If they're going to subpoena you, they need to give you those witness fees. They can be trivial but ask for them anyway. In California, as of October 1st, 2020, the witness fees are $35 and 20 cents a mile, both ways, to and from the point of appearance.

The second thing is to make sure all the information in the subpoena is correct. Each subpoena includes the address and a phone number for the attorney or party who has subpoenaed you. If you are legitimately unable to appear on the date requested, contact the party and be honest with them. Tell them, "I'm willing to appear. I'm willing to give testimony, but I can't do it on the date that you've noticed me to do it."
