Mr. Hammond’s interest in law started in high school, continued at the L.A. County Sheriff’s Academy, and has been further honed through law school, extensive courtroom experience, and training.
Educational background Mr. Hammond earned his J.D. (Law) degree from the University of Southern California Law School and his B.A. degree in Philosophy from Occidental College.
Professional experience and qualifications Mr. Hammond has experience with civil, criminal, administrative, and other proceedings in a variety of forums, including the Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals and the California Supreme Court, as well as administrative hearings of the Board of Parole Hearings, Federal Aviation Administration, the California State Bar Moral Character Committee, county Boards of Supervisors, and both L.A. City and County Dangerous Dog Determination hearings.
