Her ability to present complex legal and business issues in an understandable manner has made her a sought-after speaker, continuing education lecturer, and media source. A former radio talk show host, she has been a guest on numerous local and national radio and television shows. She has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, Hearst Connecticut Publications, Globe and Mail, Arthritis Today, Charlotte Observer, Work Style, and the Connecticut Law Tribune.

Laurie is the recipient of numerous professional honors including:

Ms. Giles received a Bachelor of Psychology from Springfield College. She received her Masters in Higher Education Administration from Eastern Nazarene College and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
