Graduated from Borah High School, Boise State University, and the University of Idaho. I enjoy coaching, which I try to coach one sport a year. It is typically football at Lewis and Clark middle school, but I have been known to coach basketball as well.

Worked with each judge on the Court of Appeals and assisted in authoring legal opinions. The opinions I worked on included challenges to sufficiency of evidence, denials of motions for judgment of acquittal, collateral attacks of previous convictions, challenges to judgment convictions for numerous charges, abuse of discretion challenges, denials of motions to suppress, denials of motions for credit for time served and denials of post sentencing motions to withdraw guilty pleas.

Represented the District of Idaho in numerous court hearings. Hearings included detention, change of plea, and sentencings. Wrote trial briefs, multiple plea agreements, informations, indictments, motions in limine, stipulations, and office memorandums.
