As an intern, I had the privilege to work hands on with a supervising attorney in the family law clinic. I spent my time here drafting marital settlement agreements, custody agreements, filling out the proper documents for divorces, divided a pension in a QILDRO as well as sat in on many client meetings. I also completed a research project on the custody of frozen embryos.

As a program of CGLA, C.L.A.I.M. works with clients to establish guardianship, custody, child support, divorce, and representation in court. I organized prison trips every two months to visit incarcerated mothers. While there, we taught a parental rights class and advised clients based on their needs.
