Coming from a long line of small-town attorneys, Jay has always devoted his practice to representing clients who have been badly hurt or killed, or suffered other injuries at the hands of others. Jay has experience in both jury trials and appellate practice, in various practice areas including medical malpractice, birth injuries, trucking accidents, and defective products. His philosophy is that every client should be fully prepared for trial, with the hope of achieving a satisfactory result for his clients short of the courtroom. Jay is rated AV-Preeminent® by the Martindale-Hubbell* peer review. He is a governor of the Kentucky Justice Association, and has been selected as a member of the American Inns of Court. He has been named a “Superlawyers Rising Star” since 2015, and a local litigation star by Benchmark Litigation.
