William T. Bly is a 2000 graduate of Rutgers University where he majored in Political Science with a minor in U.S. History. He then went on to attend and graduate in 2004 from the University of Maine – School of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Bly focused on criminal defense. He worked at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office in Portland, Maine as an intern prosecutor. This experience allowed him to gain insight of the “ins and outs” of criminal prosecution in Maine. Upon graduation from law school, Attorney Bly formed his own law firm. Through his education and work, attorney Bly has developed a strong foundation in criminal law. With the limited exception of a brief period of time representing the State of Maine as an intern (student) prosecutor, Attorney Bly is proud to say that he has spent his entire legal career representing the citizen accused.
