Attorney Phyllis Jones is pleased to announce the opening of Phyllis Jones Advocacy and Law Group, PC. My practice is devoted to the areas of family advocacy in special education matters, and divorce, child support and child custody matters.

Admitted to practice in 1999 in Massachusetts, I have worked in a variety of practice areas.

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts I grew up in the Metro West and have lived for over twenty-five years on the North Shore and in the Merrimack Valley with my husband and our two children.

Outside the office, when not spending time with my family, I am an active member of my community. I Chair my town's Commission on Ability Assistance and I am a member of the Parent's Advisory Council at the local technical high school. I am an active member of the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association and the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Foundation.

My special education practice is devoted exclusively to supporting families. Starting with my own son, and for each and every one of my clients, I take pride in dispelling the idea of disabilities and I advocate to strengthen a child's educational abilities to ensure every child receives the free appropriate public education they are entitled to. I have personally navigated the special education system for almost 10 years advocating on behalf of my son and his needs through an IEP. I support you in all stages of your child’s special education needs from prior to building an initial IEP and/or 504 plan, to ensuring services are being provided appropriately, to representing you in the annual review process I am there to help you every step of the way.

My family law practice is devoted to representing you during a divorce, seeking or enforcing a child support order and/or resolving custody issues with a special focus on representing people when someone who is considered disabled is involved.
