I attended law school seeking to make the legal process less mysterious to non-lawyers. This philosophy still guides me now, over twenty five years later. I combine extensive legal experience and an understanding of the intensive role as a caregiver, especially to aging family members. My own caregiving experience informs my legal practice and the legal planning needed to provide the best possible outcome for families.

As an Estate Planning attorney, my goal is to provide individuals and families of all ages, with peace of mind by preparing even a basic plan: a Will, Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, HIPAA Release, and other planning instruments. A little planning now prevents a lot of legal entanglement later. As an Elder Mediator, I promote family harmony and minimize discord, especially in the context of end of life planning. I work with families challenged as caregivers, and seek to keep the family unit intact, and not at odds in Court.
