Ben Steffans’s practice focuses representing employees in employment-related claims and issues.
Ben has successfully litigated claims of employment harassment and employment discrimination based on sex, race, disability, pregnancy, age, and sexual orientation. Ben has successfully resolved claims involving employers who retaliate against employees for complaining about unlawful activity. A large portion of Ben’s practice consists of representing clients regarding complicated wage-and-hour issues arising under both state and federal law. Ben also has significant experience in the non-compete, non-disclosure, non-solicit, and trade secret context.
Prior to opening Steffans Legal Ben represented both employers and employees in employment claims. As a result, Ben approaches problems with a unique view that allows him to understand how opposing counsel approach and evaluate litigation.
