William Covington has practiced law for over 23 years and is currently the Business Unit Leader and Lead Attorney for all cases in the state of Mississippi for Howe & Associates Law Firm, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. Mr. Covington's primary practice experience has been in personal injury, nursing home negligence, pharmaceutical liability, and medical malpractice. While the vast majority of cases of all types settle before trial, Mr. Covington has significant trial experience, litigating nearly 100 cases through jury verdict. Mr. Covington also has extensive criminal law experience, as an assistant district attorney, criminal defense lawyer, and Commander of Narcotics and Special Tactical Operations. Mr. Covington has been an instructor teaching classes in constitutional law and other topics at law enforcement training academies in Mississippi and Oklahoma. Mr. Covington also frequently performs contract work with the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to provide assistance with kinetic training operations for personnel preparing for deployment.
