In addition to having private firm experience, Ms. Hiles worked as Assistant County Counsel with Atlantic County Government in the workers' compensation department for over 10 years.

Ms. Hiles attended West Virginia University (Morgantown, WV) where she received majored in political science and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. She went on to attend Widener University School of Law (Chester, PA) and received a Juris Doctor degree in 1997.

Ms. Hiles is a fitness instructor at a local gym. Ms. Hiles is also active in industry organizations.
