Walter A. Lesnevich, with his wife/law partner Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich (divorce and family law), founded Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, O’Cathain & O’Cathain, LLC. During his more than 40 years as a personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal attorney, Walt has amassed considerable expertise as, and the reputation of, a lawyer who fights for his clients.
Walt has tried cases involving professional malpractice, wrongful death, automobile accidents and injuries, medical malpractice, drug and medical device litigation, products liability, homicide and criminal defense. He has defended persons in State and Federal Courts accused of murder, financial crimes, rape, sexual assault, computer crimes and child pornography. While he is very accomplished professionally, what truly sets him apart is his personal approach to every client. Throughout his long career he has won many multi-million dollar cases, and is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Attorneys. Walt has tried several gastric bypass cases, each bringing significant recoveries. He is recognized as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. Additionally, he formally served as Chair of the Primerus Personal Injury Institute, and as Chair of the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification. A former Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Walt is also the former attorney for the borough of Tenafly, NJ.
