Kevin A. Pollock is the managing member of The Pollock Firm LLC, a boutique law firm that focuses on Wills, Trusts & Estates. The Pollock Firm LLC has offices near Princeton, New Jersey and Boca Raton, Florida.

As head of the firm's estate planning department, Kevin has broad experience helping clients with business succession planning, special needs trusts, tax planning, asset protection planning, probate minimization strategies, and charitable giving.

Kevin graduated from Rutgers College, with a B.A. in History and a minor in Japanese. He was the recipient of the Henry Rutgers Research Scholarship and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. During his junior year, Kevin studied abroad at the Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan and can speak conversational Japanese.

Kevin received his Juris Doctorate and Sports Law Certificate from Tulane Law School in 1999 where he was a Legal Research and Writing Fellow, the APALSA Secretary, and a member of the Asian/Pacific-American Law Students Association Moot Court Team.

Kevin graduated from New York University Law School in 2000 with a master’s degree in taxation, with a concentration in estate and gift taxation.

Kevin is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Mercer County Bar Association, the Mercer County Estate Planning Council, and the Bucks County Estate Planning Council.

Setting up a revocable living trust is an appropriate estate planning technique for many people. However, not everyone needs to do it. Whether you should set up a revocable living trust depends upon where you live, the complexity of your family affairs, the complexity of your assets, how old you are, and many other factors. The reason to set up a revocable living trust is to minimize probate. However, not everyone needs to spend the extra time and money to minimize probate.
