Ms. Adler joined McOmber McOmber & Luber as a Partner in February 2020. Her primary areas of practice are employment law and civil litigation. Ms. Adler actively litigates in all areas of employment law, including but not limited to matters involving discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, wage and hour actions, WARN Act and restrictive covenant issues. Ms. Adler has experience litigating matters in both State and Federal Court.
Prior to joining McOmber McOmber & Luber, Ms. Adler was an associate with several Southern New Jersey law firms where she focused her practice on employment counseling and litigation, civil litigation and school law. Ms. Adler has represented corporate clients and public entities throughout the State of New Jersey on a variety of matters, including personal injury, employment law, special education law, tenure matters, and student disciplinary issues. She has conducted investigations into complaints of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Additionally, Ms. Adler counseled clients on a myriad of issues, including but not limited to the FMLA, the NJFLA, the ADA and employee disciplinary issues. She also has considerable experience representing businesses in transactional work such as preparing employment agreements and employee handbooks. Ms. Adler has also presented on topics including, harassment, discrimination, bullying, workplace violence, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the FMLA, New Jersey Workers’ Compensation, separation agreements, student privacy rights, and the Open Public Records Act.
Ms. Adler received her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey. She also obtained a minor in Spanish. Ms. Adler earned her Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. While attending Seton Hall, Ms. Adler was an extern for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Division of Law, Department of Children and Families.
