My law practice journey began in law school, where I was President of the school's student bar association and was able to practice as a student attorney with the local public defender's office.
After graduating law school Magna Cum Laude, I began the practice of law in New Mexico as a public defender. After about a year of defense practice I switch sides and obtained invaluable experience as a prosecutor. In my time between the two offices I have handled hundreds of cases including domestic violence, DWI, and Homicide. Now I am in private practice at the Law Office of W. Shane Jennings in Las Cruces, NM.
My primary focus is on criminal defense, where my prior experience as both a defense attorney and a prosecutor allows me to see a case from all angles and develop a strategy accordingly. I also handle numerous other kinds of cases, such as administrative hearings and personal injury cases.
