I own a client-centered solo practice, focused on criminal appeals and other post-conviction representation. My work's purpose is to be a voice for persons with criminal convictions.

I have been a criminal defense attorney for my entire legal career and, although I currently limit my law practice to representing clients after they have been convicted, I have successfully represented clients at all stages of criminal prosecution--including trial.

I am detail oriented and skilled at both identifying grounds to challenge criminal convictions and assessing the merits of criminal appeals. I have won reversals in 100% of CPL 440.10 motions that I've pursued to decision and achieved favorable outcomes in nearly 50% of the direct appeals I've filed in intermediate appellate courts.

When appropriate, I adopt a holistic approach to representing clients by identifying their pain points then implementing a comprehensive strategy to mitigate the direct and collateral consequences of their criminal record. In every case, I listen to my clients' ideas, concerns, and goals, and I keep those in mind every time I speak or act on a client's behalf.
