The Law Office of Gerald M. Oginski, LLC
I am very pleased to report that since March 2002, I have been a solo practitioner representing injured victims of negligence, accidents, wrongful death and medical malpractice here in the State of New York. I practice law in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. I've been in practice since 1988 and I'm proud to say that I really love my work helping injured people obtain money compensation for their injuries caused by someone else's wrongdoing. I have created an educational website with free reports and information about personal injury and medical malpractice cases in the State of New York. In addition, I have also created an entire video library with over 130 educational and informative video tips about negligence and medical malpractice cases here in New York. You can view my video blog at: http://nymedicalmalpracticevideoblog.com and also http://www.medicalmalpracticetutorial.com My clients appreciate the fact that they deal directly with the senior partner from the moment they call my office, until their case is finished. There are no paralegals, associate attorneys or junior partners to deal with. Instead, they get me- the senior trial lawyer to answer their legal questions. My clients also tell me that they love how often I update them on their cases. I make it a point to send updates to my client every month- even when nothing significant is happening. I feel it is crucial for clients to know that I am aware of what is happening on their case, even when we're just waiting for a deposition or court conference to take place. I have become a prolific writer, and my clients and potential clients enjoy my frequent 'hard-copy' and e-mail newsletters- which most of the time have very little to do with law. Importantly, if you have any questions about an accident or treatment you received from a doctor or hospital here in the State of New York, then I encourage you to call me with your questions. I guarantee to give you a straightforward and honest answer. That's my promise. Call me at 516-487-8207 or send me an email to: lawmed10[at]yahoo.com.
1996 - 2002
Mallilo & Grossman
I joined Mallilo & Grossman so I could better help injured victims obtain compensation for their injuries. I was the senior trial attorney who handled all of the medical malpractice cases for the firm. I had a satellite office in Garden City, where I represented my law firm, which is a large Queens personal injury law firm. I was the only attorney who handled the medical malpractice cases, which was very encouraging for my clients. Why? Because when they called to find out what was happening on their case, they didn't need to speak to a paralegal. They didn't need to speak to a junior associate. They didn't need to speak to the junior partner. Instead, they got to speak to me, the trial attorney who handled their case from start to finish. It was here that I truly learned what a difference it means to provide personal attention to the client. After six incredible years providing personal, individual and caring legal service to injured victims, I felt it was time to open my own office for the practice of law; to better serve my clients. That began my journey as a solo practitioner, and I'm very pleased to say it was the best decision of my life.

Zucker & Ballen
While at Zucker & Ballen, located in Brooklyn, N.Y., I had the opportunity to represent seriously injured victims of negligence and medical malpractice. I tried many cases, and successfully resolved many more. After four years of gaining incredible trial experience, I joined forces with a large personal injury law firm where I handled all of the firms' medical malpractice cases from start to finish.

Leahey & Johnson
Leahey & Johnson is a mid-sized defense law firm at 120 Wall Street in downtown Manhattan. I started working there during the summer of my second year in law school and part-time during my third year in law school. After graduating law school I began working there full time as a personal injury and medical malpractice trial lawyer, representing doctors, hospitals, and people who were sued for negligence, wrongful death, medical malpractice and accidents. Leahey & Johnson was the best training ground for attorneys who handled medical malpractice and personal injury. You got out of it what you put in. I had the privilege of learning and gaining experience from one of the best personal injury defense lawyers in the Country.
