Video Transcript: Kim: “On Sunday morning we were getting ready to go on a short trip.” Charlie M. Rittgers: “Tammy and Kim were in the back seat of a vehicle that was traveling on I-75 when a semi tractor trailer ran into the back of their car.” Tammy: “I don’t remember a lot from the accident itself but from hearing what the others have said you know I you know it was pretty overwhelming.” Charlie M. Rittgers: “When you look at Tammy, she speaks like a normal person, she looks like a normal person and outwardly you cannot see any injuries. So it was our job to show the trucking company the true damage and the extent of the damage they caused that day on the roadway. And we focused on who Tammy was before this crash, compared to who Tammy is now.” Tammy: “It took me about a year of physical therapy so, I had a few setbacks here and there but I’m doing pretty good now.” Charlie M. Rittgers: “They received a number of calls from chiropractors, to their home and cell phone. They also received a number of letters from law firms who were tying to get the case.” Tammy: “After meeting with Charlie he pretty much told us what to expect, what was going to happen and that he would they were here to take care of everything. We wouldn’t have to deal with anything; the bills, the multiple bills, the doctors, things like that.” Charlie M. Rittgers: “One of the greatest satisfactions for me as an injury attorney is to see a settlement or verdict alleviate a person’s financial burdens.” Tammy: “They had our backs.” Kim: “Yeah, I agree. And there’s a personal contact there that seemed like it come through there’s some genuineness there that were caring about the persons other than just the case itself.” Charlie M. Rittgers: “For Tammy and Kim, knowing that they have this settlement will alleviate any stress, any unknownness to whether or not they’ll have the ability to afford medical treatment in the future if it’s needed. Or whether or not they’ll have the ability to stop working if work becomes difficult, and knowing that they’ve achieved this settlement will take that stress off their plate.”
