My office was founded in Millersburg, Dauphin County in 1951 by Attorney Allen Shaffer. Since I joined the Firm in 1999, I took over as managing partner in 2001 and later as sole shareholder in 2006. The office has expanded from a two lawyer firm to a four attorney firm and moved to Harrisburg. We handle a variety of legal areas, including Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody, Criminal Law, Municipal Law, and Educational Law.

I was appointed to this position by the President Judge of Dauphin County. I presided over juvenile detention hearings and adjudications. I also presided over juvenile dependency matters for Dauphin County Children and Youth.

Dauphin County District Attorney's Office
As a Deputy District Attorney serving Dauphin County, I was directed to handle numerous criminal prosecutions, mostly sex offenses directed at children. I was also the head of the Office's post conviction relief act division and handled over 150 appeal matters to both the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania. I have argued before both the Superior and Supreme Courts on numerous occasions.
