Tammy Dusharm has nearly 15 years' experience representing individuals in the areas of criminal defense, pardons and expungements, family law, divorce, child custody, child support and civil litigation. Attorney Dusharm opened her own practice after law school, where she focused her practice on the areas of family law, civil litigation and collections. She then spent six years working as a court-appointed criminal defense attorney with the Mohave County Legal Defender's Office in Kingman, Arizona. In 2013, Ms. Dusharm moved her family to central Pennsylvania where she worked for the Franklin County Public Defender's Office until 2015 when she returned to private practice. In private practice, Ms. Dusharm continues to represent individuals in the areas of criminal defense, pardons and expungements, family law, divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and civil litigation.

Franklin County Public Defender's Office
During my tenure at the Franklin County Public Defender's Office, I provided representation to indigent individuals charged with commission of criminal offenses. I represented people for any criminal offense carrying the possibility of incarceration, ranging from summary and traffic offenses through serious felony offenses, including drug offenses, violent offenses, sex offenses, burglaries, and others. I was also responsible for managing the office in the absence of the Chief Public Defender.

As Deputy Legal Defender, I was responsible for representing individuals charged with committing criminal offenses, including misdemeanors, felonies, drug offenses, weapon offenses, violent offenses and property offenses. In addition, I represented juveniles who had been accused of committing delinquent acts. Finally, our office was appointed to represent mentally ill individuals where a petition for involuntary treatment had been filed against them.
