Angel Kane has been practicing law since 1995. While in law school Angel was a member of the University of Memphis Law Review and served as a judicial law clerk for Chancery Court. Upon graduation, she practiced with the law firm of Crislip, Philip & Associates in the areas of creditor’s rights, family law, wills and business litigation.
In 1998, Angel and her husband, Brody Kane, returned to Wilson County, where Angel joined the law firm of Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds. In 2005, she joined Shawn and Brody at McBrien and Kane and since then has focused her practice on family law, estate planning, and business law. In her practice she handles divorce, custody, alimony, child support, grandparent visitation, parental relocation, adoption, wills, powers of attorney, estate planning, probate and business formation and general civil litigation.
Angel Kane is an active member of the 15th Judicial District Bar Association and a graduate of Leadership Wilson. In 2008, she co-founded the media company, Wilson Living Magazine, LLC, that publishes Wilson Living Magazine, a bi-monthly regional print and digital magazine with a readership of over 50,000 readers. Her company also produces the Wilson Living Holiday Expo, an event that draws thousands to Wilson County every year. Additionally, Angel is a regular contributor to The Chronicle of Mt. Juliet, Lebanon Democrat, Carthage Courier and The Edge newspaper
In 2014, Angel Kane was appointed as a part-time Municipal Judge.
In 2016, Angel Kane was appointed to the Lebanon Planning Commission.
Angel and her family attend First United Methodist Church. She and her husband have three children.
