J. Hunter Craft

Hunter Craft is a seasoned litigator who in 2013 founded his own Houston, Texas, firm: Craft Law Firm, PC. Mr. Craft focuses his practice primarily on cases of product liability, trucking and construction accidents, and catastrophic injuries. He has represented victims from over 20 states in high-profile cases against large corporations, including major automobile manufacturers, tire manufacturers, transportation companies and energy companies. Mr. Craft has obtained successful trial results in commercial litigation, negligence, product liability and trucking cases, including three that were noted in VerdictSearch's annual publication of the top 100 verdicts in the country as well as an additional three listed in the Texas Top 100.
Mr. Craft is licensed to practice before the Texas state courts and the U.S. District Courts for all Districts of Texas. He graduated as the Casey Presidential Scholar from Baylor University in 1996, and he earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 1999.
Selected by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America, Mr. Craft has distinguished himself throughout his career for his aggressive advocacy on behalf of his clients. Prior to opening his own practice, he was a partner with the predecessor to distinguished firm Watts Guerra Craft LLP. He began his career as a litigation associate with the international law firm Fulbright & Jaworski LLP in Houston, Texas, where he represented several large clients in commercial, product liability and occupational exposure litigation cases.
Mr. Craft is a frequent speaker on personal injury topics such as discovery, accident reconstruction, expert witnesses and product liability. He has appeared on television and radio and in several major newspapers as an authority on a broad array of topics pertaining to motor vehicle accident litigation.
