I grew up in Anson, Texas, not far from Abilene. I was raised on a ranch out in the country, and it helped shape my early life. I graduated Valedictorian of my high school in 1995, and went to Texas A&M University where I graduated in 1999 in the top 10% of my class with a B.B.A. in Accounting. After graduation with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from A&M, I went straight to law school at Texas Tech University School of Law on a full scholarship. I graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from law school in the top 10% of my class with a Juris Doctorate (J.D) in law. After law school, I moved back to Abilene.
After working for a local Abilene law firm for a year, I almost quit being a lawyer for good. I quit my job at the firm, and backpacked Europe for three (3) months. When I got back with a new perspective on life, I decided to start my own law practice and be my own boss. I have been fighting for the rights of West Texans ever since.
