Michelle was her class representative to the Student Bar Association as well as a board member of the National Lawyers Guild. She was a member of the American Bar Association Negotiation team at Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law while taking classes there as a visiting student. Prior to becoming a criminal defense attorney, Michelle spent almost eight years prosecuting criminal cases for the largest municipality in the State of Utah.

I spent years in the courtroom and have presided over at least 100 jury trials and thousands of bench trials and motion hearings. I spent two years as the liaison to the vice squad and trained police officers in undercover investigation techniques, report writing, and how to testify in court. I also helped draft legislative updates for the sex solicitation, massage therapy, and gambling laws.
