Earning her B.S. in Business Administration from George Mason University in 1977, she continued her education, earning her J.D. from George Mason University in 1982, after spending two years at the Department of Justice. Since then, she has assisted those in need of legal representation in matters concerning divorce, bankruptcy, personal injury, family law, and estate matters. She is married and has one married daughter, Rebecca Evans, who is a graduate of Immanuel Christian School in North Springfield, West Springfield High School, Northern Virginia Community College, and George Mason University as well as George Mason University School of Law. Her daughter joined the firm as an associate in October 2012 and handles all estate planning matters at the firm.
She also has three amazing step-children, and eight grandchildren, who she adores. She is an active church member at Calvary Road Baptist Church, where she is director of the Women's Ministry.
