What's Missing From Your Divorce Case File?
Join me and my guests Tracey Barrett and Graham Pruitt to learn about how Real Estate Collaboration Specialists in Divorce can be of assistance during the divorce process.

Delegating document gathering often leaves house evidence gaps. As the project manager, a Real Estate Collaboration Specialist - Divorce (RCS-D) helps Homeowners, Lawyers, Financial Planners and Mediators - at no cost - gather house-related documents for more informed decision-making during Family Mediation.

Participants will learn 1) Where there could be possible gaps in their case files; 2) Who are the RCS-D Affiliated Team Members; 3) What is the timeline for success.

Storytelling Through Cross-Examination
Join me and my special guest Kenneth Hardin from the Harris County Public Defender's Office in Houston, Texas as we discuss storytelling through cross-examination.

Storytelling is a technique that is often restricted to opening and closing statements but it can be used for so much more! In this discussion, we will discuss building upon the basic cross techniques (leading questions, one fact per question, logical direction) through persuasive techniques such as tone, speed of voice and movement as we tell a client’s story of innocence. We will break down a hypo through the use of character themes within a theory in order to turn a good cross examination into a great one!

Developing Healthy Attorney Client Relations
Join me and my special guest Kenneth Hardin from the Harris County Public Defender's Office in Houston, Texas as we discuss creating and maintaining healthy client relations.

Developing healthy client relationships is the center of the universe that exists between clients and public defenders (PDs). No matter how long we have practiced law, it is a crucial skillset to every decision we make in our cases. In this discussion, we will explore different but common scenarios between attorneys and their clients as we battle the often negative stereotypes that we experience as PDs. Everything we do is either reinforcing a stereotype or breaking down a barrier so let us always remain alert!
