Originally from Buffalo, New York, Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies – Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from American University’s School of Public Affairs. She earned her J.D. cum laude from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. She was a member of both the Trial Advocacy Board and the Moot Court Board. Amy also served as an Articles Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review.

Following graduation, Amy was admitted to the Order of the Barristers and awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. She has participated in nearly 200 mock trials over the past eleven years, giving her an impressive amount of trial experience well beyond that of most other recent law school graduates. She worked as a Summer Associate for the Allen Law Firm while in law school.
