Kentucky Privacy of School Records Laws

Much of this information could be used for identity theft or other dubious purposes if left unsecured.

Thankfully, a combination of federal and state laws protect the privacy of educational records, although access to this information is generally restricted to the student, the student's parents or legal guardians, and school administrators. For the most part, parents have unfettered access to the educational records of minors.
