M. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama, an Associates of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from Samford University and a Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law. During law school Scott worked with large firms in Birmingham, Alabama as a paralegal, where he was involved in corporate, estate and trust, probate, bankruptcy and insurance defense litigation.
