Emily is a passionate Family Law attorney who has dedicated her practice to representing clients and families going through Family Law matters. Emotions run high in most family law cases and she strives to provide her clients with both thoughtful and realistic strategy and short term and long term goals. Emily prides herself on developing creative settlement options to craft arrangements that honor their new family dynamic. When settlement is not possible, her prowess in the Courtroom already far exceeds her years of practice as she uses her vast legal knowledge and considerable trial skills to obtain positive results for her clients. Emily is a certified mediator and mediates both general civil cases and family law cases. Having mediated numerous cases, she understands the dynamics and strategies involved in negotiation and alternative dispute resolution.

I handle all matters in Family Law including contested divorce, uncontested divorce, legal separation, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, alimony, child custody, parenting plans, and child support and am familiar with issues in high asset divorce cases and divorce cases involving businesses. I also represent clients in adoptions, legitimation, and paternity cases. Family Law matters also extend to post-divorce and I also assist clients with post-divorce issues such as contempt actions and modification actions.
